Looks great Tim!! *NM*
Thanks for the building tips. *NM*
Nice Buildup, Tim!
I agree 100% with your assessment of this kit, Tim.... I have fond memories of building, one of the originals, as a teen, way back in the. Think that I still have the body in what remains of my parts stash. *PIC*
Great look at a kit taken for granted... Everything said here is dead on. Funny this kit is so useful for plenty of other ideas, I bet I've built 25 of these only having built box art type cars once each the rest were used with other bodies. Great work TB. *NM*
Great review Tim, BTW the 2004 Bantam Blast & I expect the new kit also includes the Hilborn 4pot & scoop as well as the Enderle hat plus both WW Borsch large wing & the BB small wing...haven't seen the new issue here in Oz yet but I need one to sit a Topolino body onto..lol *NM*
Andy, the extra engine parts are in there, but not the WWB airfoil....best....TBfiriss *NM*
Great review Tim! I picked up this kit from our host last week. *NM*
Great info. Thanks Tim. Although I have two unbuilt 2004 issues, I'll have to get this one now. *NM*
I built one of those Bantam Blast kits right after it's 2004 re-issue....... *PIC*
Gorgeous! *NM*
CD.....nice work, I like the red VHT zoomies, think I'll get stuck into my kit now...lol. *NM*
the inspiration came from a Bob McClurg photo of the Leland Kolb front engine dragster, they were they were glowing red hot in the photo. *NM*
Interesting that you mentioned Leland Kolb, he toured Oz with his late 60's FED which I think ended up being bought by an Oz racer. *NM*
