Round 2 products and news at 2023 NNL Motor City *LINK* *PIC*
You and Steve are ageless.... Like Dick Clark for so many years. *NM*
I could see my arms getting longer and my pockets shrinking so I could reach my money inside. Matt and Dawn are you taking early orders? *NM*
Cool stuff. Thanks, Tim.
Rouhd2 needs to dig into the archives for the tooling to this pickup topper. They've released versions of the pickup but this topper was used only once. It was an actual FOMOCO option. I had one. It will fit about any model 8' foot bed pickup...PIC
Oops. "Round2". *NM*
I agree. I have that kit and have thought how cool it would be to see the topper reissued. But my Ford colleagues told me those tops did not sell well. They were expensive compared to aftermarket offerings, so our Ford dealers did not want to stock them for sale.... *NM*
I bought my topper used from the back of a Ford pickup a friend was selling. Years after I owned mine I owned non-Ford, cheaper ones that didn't compare with the BETTER quality Ford. They'd sell well in 1/25 scale. *NM*
They just needed a District Manager to show em how to sell them!
Bob....I could have sold my soul and my dealers in the thumb of Michigan would have still laughed me out the door. I don't recall the exact price but my guess is it was probably 3 to 4 times the price of aftermarket alternatives. And thx for your moving gifts...especially .

There was someone, I think in Australia, resin casting those toppers, but no longer available. It's a shame with so many of the Ford pickups of that vintage still out there on the market and they'll fit other marques. Heck, I alone could make use of at least half a dozen. *NM*
I picked up a resin one online a couple years ago but I don't recall where it came from. I could look tonight when I get home to see if I have info on it. *NM*
Bob, Let me know if you get any details please. *NM*
Ok Rich! *NM*
Rich, here are photos of the resin bed cap I have. More crude than I remember. You also have mail!
Yep, that's the cover alright. Too bad such a "rough copy". I have one of the originals. Should have two but can't seem to locate the second. Thanks for going to the trouble and posting the photos. *NM*
You're very welcome. *NM*
Nice seeing the '71 Charger is coming back with the hemi. *NM*
With Ram Air! *NM*
They are doing a nice job of moving parts around inside the tools... *NM*
