I believe the Boss 351 kit has a couple of unmentioned extra parts, which would point to there being different engines in each version. I can’t recall Revell cutting corners like that *NM*
One way to tell: pull your Revell Torino Cobra and compare the engine parts

When the new Boss 351 and Mach 1 kits began development, Revell reached out to a number of contacts in the 1/1 and scale model world to find actual engines to scale. Ideally they would be engines that were out of the car (not installed) to get better info. I do not have...

Just did some searching and found that the combo kit (includes some paint and other things) is out but the price is about twice the price of a normal kit. I'll wait. *NM*
