In Response To: I remember the Weslake being in the MPC Gurney Eagle, the one Ertl reissues as an early Buyers' Choice piece *NM* ()

But it is an act of courage to throw the entire chrome tree in the CSC to burn off the plating :(

Other than the suspension members and a few doo dads, none of the Eagle parts are chrome.

It is hands down the most gorgeous open-wheel car ever built, shows what happens when Phil Remington got free reign on the design/build.

Just saw a pic of the box art of a new AMT '59 Caddy Ambulance (I assume it's the Ghost Busters Caddy) with a newly tooled Gurney. *NM*
- Speaking of Gurney, heard the Gurney Lotus is being reissued. *NM*
  - I think that one has been out for a while now *NM*
    - Just checked and its listed here, that one snuck by me. *NM*
      - Good news if correct - has a terrific Gurney Weslake SBF and the best 4-Cam Ford tooled in scale *NM*
