Is that the 90109 or 10909 ? From the looks of the pics, I'd be happy with that. Thanks Terry. *NM*

Well not “airbrushed” , the spaztix was aerosol can/sprayed *NM*

Picked up a can of the revell chrome spray paint and want to try it out, is the general consensus to shoot it over a smooth bare plastic or over glossy painted undercoat? *NM*
Smooth bare plastic, no undercoat needed as far as I know. *NM*
I've tried it over both, makes no difference. *NM*
Does it look like chrome? Is it durable or does it get damaged like Molotow? *NM*
Well, I cut the front bumper away from the grille and did it with the Revell spray, wheels too, looks pretty good to me. But, I'd let it dry for at least a week before any serious handling. Planning ahead is important. *NM* *PIC*
Wow - very reflective ! Looks great *NM*
Hey Steve, is the blackout on the hood a decal or paint? *NM*
paint *NM*
WOW! 🤯 *NM*
Got some--astounding finish. BUT the nozzle & pressure aren't like other hobby sprays. Greater pressure & fine mist--hold can further away and move very quickly--turns to chrome right before your eyes! *NM*
Can someone brush or spray clear acrylic (Future floor shine equivalent) to see if that solves the fragile handling issues *NM*
Brushed some Tamiya clear acrylic. [X-22] on some that's been drying for over a month and it immediately killed the chrome look. BUT, after it's dried for a few weeks it's not nearly as fragile as some would lead you to believe. *NM*
. You still have to be careful but it's not gonna rub off as soon as you touch it. No worse then Molotow or Alclad, probably better after it's completely cured. [which takes a long time] *NM*
I wonder if spraying the clear acrylic in thin coats would work better. *NM*
Applying any sort of coating will knock down the reflectivity turning it into bright silver. Just apply the stuff and minimize handling of it, and it should be fine *NM*
I sprayed a couple light coats of spaztix clear over it, it made a slight change to its appearance but nothing drastic, still looks shiny/reflective/glossy, look where the handle meets the bottom of the spoon bowl *NM* *PIC*
Wow, that looks great. Thanks! *NM*
and one more as compared to a kit chrome part *NM* *PIC*
Just to clarify…that is Revell Chrom spray with Spaztix clear airbrushed over it? *NM*
Yes *NM*

It’s the spaztix 10909 *NM*
Thanks Terry. *NM*
Thanks Terry! *NM*
Cant say how it holds up to handling it but super impressed how glossy/reflective it is, this is over bare pastic *NM* *PIC*
