    • They probably didn't have a tire rotation day--they might've replaced the tires as they wore out/got flat.
      • I've not ever heard of tire rotation on trucks, drive tires are different from steer tires and the DOT tread depth on the two is different, Drives are often "lug tires". steer tires were always changed in pairs when I was driving, well, almost always. *NM*

    • On the real truck the front 2 trailer axles are lift axles and the rearmost axle is a lift axle, but still that's 5 on the ground - I imagine 40 acres would be about enough. ha. *NM*

  • Great stuff, Tim. FWIW, there was a Paul Bunyan restaurant and statue just west of Ann Arbor at the I-94 Scio Road interchange (NW corner of Zeeb and Jackson Road) back in the 1960s. Have no idea what happened to the statues; the restaurant building is still there. TB *NM*
