Looks lilke SmugMug is working. *NM*
Years ago(early '80's), I built a(eventually)HUGE model railroad. And since I was a "rookie" I had some of the local "pro's" help out. Found out, they did not like BNSF! They called it, "Big Nothing So Far"!! True story. *NM*
Considering my dad retired after 40+ years from the Santa Fe not a big BNSF fan either. *NM*
One of the "pro" model railroaders, was Strictly Santa Fe. Calenders, timetables, hats., pins, you name it, he had it. Hated BNSF!! *NM*
I joined the ATSFHSMA a few years ago (not a member now). The ATSF Historical Society and Modeling Association did have a few members then who were not that "welcoming" to the BNSF era.
I caught 6 trains a day to & from work for 11yrs, not a train fan now...BUT...what does BNFS stand for & what is that black cylinder thing in pic # 3. *NM*

Especially when you're 7 or 8 hundred feet underground. *NM*
Wayne, the 3rd PIC down, that black, barrel "thingie," what on earth!? *NM*
Now that I've put the CORRECT LINK here, there are more shots of it plus one has a tag explaining more about it. Anyway its a mine locomotive that runs on compressed air. Sorry about the link mess up. *LINK*
Thanks, Wayne. Had no idea such a rig existed--too cool (now...IF I could scratch build, and IF my hands didn't shake , and IF...) *NM*
That Nickle Plate Alco is along way from home, if you took that pic in Arizona. *NM*
That line of photos and the steam engine were at the Oregon Railroad Musuem in Portland. *NM*
