Well, I was stranded about 12 miles from home, in Rock Falls, when the battery in the Buick,suddenly and without warning, decided it had reached it's expiration date....

Called a friend who gave me a ride across the river to the Farm & Fleet in Sterling to buy a new one...
Afterward we stopped at a little local taco joint and I bought her lunch for her trouble...
All told that little adventure managed to chew up a good portion of the day.... It's always something!!! LOL
