Wow, Mike, you are spot on, those are "Pacer" versions, available with either a 2 or 4 barrel carb, the blue one even has the stock hubcaps,the blackout hood & red grille was a Pacer feature, the lack of a 4speed held the cars back on the track,the next model, the VH which

came with an increase in "Hemi" 6 capacity from 245 to 265 cubes, an available 4 speed and more importantly a nice set of triple 45mm DCOE Weber carbys, head work, big cam & headers to give 302hp ex factory.....all in a factory shortened( and lightened) body shell called the Valiant Charger.......but it was the earlier 1969 and most definately 1970 Valiants that put Oz Mopar in with a chance on the racetracks...I owned a 1970 VG Valiant Hardtop 30 yrs ago for a few years, was a nice car but with 3 kids was not very family friendly.........lol........andyd
