Ok, it’s a long shot but, any kit or aftermarket source for a dash mount type oscillating fan you’d sometimes see in big rigs and buses in 60s/70s?? I’d like to find something in photoetch if it exists …or even something that looks close and I can modify *NM*
A small electric radiator fan ?? *NM*
No, one that would be mounted on the dash for “cooling” the driver/passenger , like a small desk fan . The bus hauler I’m working on had one in it I’m wanting to replicate *NM*
Terry, start with a small scale airplane prop or outboard boat motor prop and build a cage around it. *NM*
I'd probably just scale this down using styrene sheet and build from "scratch"...PIC
i'm assuming you're trying to duplicates something like this...PICS
Exactly!!! *NM*
Detail junkees *LINK*
That’s it, thanks! Left a “notify appreciate the lead *NM*
Detail Junkies website states "out of stock". *NM*
Yeah, i left a “notify me” on the item page and also emailed the Cust support link to see if one may be available. The scratch build idea is a bit of a challenge as the “cage” around the fan would be hard to replicate in scale . Digging around I also found the old AM
Like the fan on the dash of the Peterbilt in Duel... *NM*
‘Zackly! The model I’m working on is from that same era *NM*
One could be designed and 3D printed. It would be a delicate little bugger, but it's not impossible..... *NM*

Yep! *NM*
I’ll put one on my next print bed and see if it works. I drew it up last night when I couldn’t sleep. Lol *NM*
any idea how big around the fan casing should be? Like 4mm? *NM*
Lol, and awesome ! Maybe 5 or 6mm, googled it and says amazon has one that’s 7” but think that (7mm) would be a bit too large in scale *NM*
