to improve the kit detail, paint the chrome grilles body colour then wipe the paint from the grille bars,the bars snap on to a body coloured sheet metal panel,also try to thin the side profile of the headlights, the kit pieces are too thick & cut the front metal

axle to about 3/8th in length, enough to go into the front backing rim, then super glue the stub to the front suspension getting rid of the metal axle from one side to the other, a trianguler piece of sheet plastic can be made to cover the open area between the radiator top and the top of the grille panel as there is in 1:1 scale and if wanted the running boards and the area the kit pieces glue onto can be removed as running were a delete option in 1940 with a sheet metal panel taking their place to hide the lower edges of the chassis...........I owned a 1941 Plymouth Coupe for 7 yrs if more info wanted........andyd
