Speaking of '40s Packards, if anyone is building or considering the '41 Packard Clipper 1-35 scale Roden kit, there is a huge set of Hemmings pics of a post-war '46 civilian version - essentially the same car - at the enclosed *LINK* *PIC*

It is a partially refurbished car with some wear here and there and has a non stock engine, but is in pretty good shape and looks like it has had a recent silver and black paint job.

Dad got one of these at the end of WW II when he got back to the states from Europe after over a year in a German POW camp so I wish I could get a 1:25 version. Might sell well enough for one of the resin or 3-D folks to take it on one day as a 2-in-1 post war civilian classic and the WW II upper ranking military's staff cars.
