  • Crashed as in really died, or were you able to resuscitate it? My computer is getting long in the tooth and I worry. I did get an external backup drive but I don't know if a new computer could even read it... How did you manage to get "back"? *NM*
    • The "main box" where everything hooks up to kept overheating. Took it to our local computer shop and this young skinny kid says "yup, we see that quite a bit". Nine days later, he calls, and the wife and I picked it up. Cheaper than we anticipated, too!! I have a laptop,
