I need two 1/20 scale BBS wheels for a project. I had a set in a Tamiya Porsche kit but did not want to rob the kit,,,,,so I decided to cast the units I had. Pulled out the Alumilite casting kit I had. Issue was the Catalyst had dried up hardened. OK....Got online found the same kit I had for a decent price, ordered it. The catalyst it it was thick but I used it. For the 2nd pour on this 2 part mold I needed more catalyst. Contacted Alumilite and they told me all the Alumilite kits we saw in hobby shops for years have been discontinued for a long time and NOTHING from those kits is made any longer. I was told it's best not to buy any of those kits as the RTV and resin is way past use date.

Just a FYI for those like me that cast once every 4 or 5 years.
