I don't know what Floquil is selling today, but their original paint was pretty much like lacquer. Great stuff, but found to be "hazardous" I guess. *NM*
FLOQUIL or SCALECOAT II Paints here is the answer
I think Bill is correct on the older line of Floquil paint from this link to there site *LINK*
Thanks, Craig. I was too lazy to Google them. lol *NM*
It was mainly a model RR paint that I used when I started airbrushing. It always gave me a headache when I used it, so I was an "early adopter" of acrylics. The early ones like Polly S weren't great, but it's replacement, Polly Scale sprayed just fine. Now it's gone too. *NM*
Funny to see this post. This afternoon I was buying paint at a hobby shop two hours away from home. We were discussing the loss of several paint ranges. (In short Floquil paints are no more.) Floquil itself dates back several decades, and started out with a strong solvent... *LINK*
This old paint chip card gives an idea what the range was like in the past century *NM* *LINK* *PIC*
