I applied one mist coat after putting them on the body. I waited 15-20 minutes before applying 2 regular coats 5 minutes separating them. *NM*

I have found that any clear will ruin decals if applied too heavily. Using one thin coat, it never happens. I used to make a lot of ALPS decals, and did not find them to be different from all the others. *NM*

Testors snot strikes again. The Wet Look can I've been saving for my project has a big goober attached to the bottom. How well does Tamiya TS-13 clear work with alps printed decals? *NM*

Had enough in it to get 1 mist coat, then 2 coats. Real bummer is it wrinkled up some of the decals. Might have put the coats on too quickly between coats. *NM*
Brush on a coat of Future on the decals, just the decals and spray away the Future will sandwich the decal and the paint. *NM*
Coat all decals with Microscale Liquid Decal Film before applying them. It will protect them from hotter paints, but spray light coats at first, 20 minutes apart. Then wait 30 minutes and lay down your wet coat. *NM*

That's too much, too fast. What's the purpose of all that clear? *NM*
I've used Testors glosscoat and Duplicolor clear lacquer over ALPS decals for years with good results. Have not tried the Tamiya clear flat yet but will given the good report I got at last club meeting. *NM*
Nancy at Slixx decals said the only issue they've had with clears was the the Tamiya stuff.....I know Alps isn't Slixx, but I stay away from it for that reason.
