  • Is it a "hot" paint or similar to an acrylic? Go well over decals? *NM*
    • Went over Tamiya with no problems. Have not tried it over enamels and probably never will. Don't know about decals. *NM*
      • It worked over the decals on a Round 2 Fireball 500 kit for me. I really need to finish that one *NM*
  • How is the smell? Do you use a respirator? *NM*
    • Smell is no worse than Tamiya. *NM*
  • One thing, but it's a big one...do not try to sand and recoat that clear *NM*
  • Glad you're happy with Duplicolor 1K also David! I've sprayed it over Tamiya lacquer, Testors lacquer and Testors enamel and it was fine on those. I haven't tried any other paints yet. I have two more projects I sprayed with it and will be sharing those very soon! *NM*
    • It laid down beautifully over some plain ole Ditzler Lacquer on a build I've been nudging along for, oh, 48 years.
