Smooth as it looks, this casting still has a lot of the layers of any 3D print, especially with those big curvy "fenders." In fact, this casting really hated paint. It would just puddle up on the surface. Finally tried using some Zinsser BIN and that seemed to settle things down.

I let the yellow sit for ten days. It's Tamiya Camel Yellow lacquer. I was pretty worried about it lifting, but it stayed solid so I could mask and spray the silver.

Now I'll let this sit a couple days and do some decals. I can work on the windows and all of the light lenses, too.

Slow but finally making some progress. Got some BIN on the Landmaster, too. Lots of surface issues to deal with.Think I'll find a nice Tamiya kit to build after this nonsense.
