I built this back in the late 1980s, IIRC, before the '41 Chev was out. Pickings were slim for stovebolts at the time. *NM*

So: seeing all the '39 Chivvalays on the board begs the question
I've got that exact swap, half done in a box.
How does the engine fit? Wondering how accurate the '39 frame is to the original... *NM*
The Engine fit pretty well, on the first test fit.
The frame is simplified. IIRC it should be something like the Galaxie '40s Chevy kits. Chassis reference can be found in the GM "Restoration Packs" found online. *NM*
Monogram '53 Bel Air into '39 sedan delivery *PIC*

So now what I've gotta do is take the BBC out of the '39 and put it into the '53!! *NM*
And use the Pontiac Rally IIs... *NM*
Well....maybe not, they're already used on something else. *NM*
My plan was to use the BBC from the '39 in making the '53 into a pro street. Stalled project at the moment. *NM*
Sounds Like a Winner to me! You should move it up to the front of the bench. *NM*
You never know when the urge will hit! :-) *NM*
All the 39 Chev models made me go & find the resin Oz 39 Chev Sloper that I've been fiddling with for 20 yrs, using the Mono 39 Coupe as the donor......choices,choices......lol.. *NM*
