This build is a kit bash of the AMT Silhouette trailer and the MPC Transporter. The Silhouette trailer was turned around and combined with the Daytona Transporter. The latter donated the interior tub, grille and box bed and sides. Wooden deck in bed. Scratchbuilt rear window. Decals from Chevy II wagon which were given to me by friends. Instrument panel and joystick from parts box. Figures are from Space:1999 Moonbuggy. The UFO is scratch built with tarp from glue-soaked paper towel. Blinkers from '62 Corvette headlights and taillights are from the 57 T-Bird. Paint is Tamiya Italian red over Tamiya pink primer. Note the Chrome Squirrel Mascot!
A fun build which was especially satisfying as it turned out as envisioned.
