Agree - it's a good 'dog food' kit if you are building '60s era mid-size Ford Merc kits - like saving a gluebomb annual

While they may differ on specific details, the current chassis can drop into most AMT midsize Fords of the era.

Currently have a few earmarked for club night/shelf build projects including a '63 Comet convertible resin, a '64 Comet Craftsman, a '67 Falcon 'woulda been' and some Fairlane annual kit restorations. Note that some of these require a bit of manipulation in wheelbase and fuel tank, but the general thrust is there.

Of note in the current release, the exhaust system is separate, an unusual feature for a flat, one-piece chassis, makes painting a lot easier.

The racing version interior is quite good, and will fit the '66-67 Fairlane tub with only a few mods, if you want to build a shock-tower GN car, the Bud Moore Comet that won Darlington in 1966, and a Fairlane that Ned Jarrett campaigned on shorter tracks in '66 come to mind. Just get the right PPP wheels and tires and have at it with the Dremel tool.
