I'm not an expert, but here are some tips . . .

Paint the car with a flat colour. Seal it with some Dullcoat lacquer. Use various shades of brown acrylics as washes. Put some on, wipe most of it off. Keep at it until you are satisfied with the look. Seal it all with some more Dullcoat. It helps to refer to some pictures of weathered cars. Good luck.
