I've had this little Merc for quite a few years and it's been wandering around my workbench for a while too so I thought I'd try to get it done so I can move on to other more meaningful projects.I took some short cuts on the paint and the chrome trim, but I don't care. It's not meant to be a contest winner, just a kind of nice driver. I found the color scheme online and built it mostly as it was, but I removed the interior panels and added window cranks, door handles, shift and turn signal stalks, red embossing powder for carpet, and a couple old cans of red enamel I had lying around, just to help use them up for color and texture. I know the handles are a bit oversize but I think they look ok. Ok, onto the pictures.
