I started converting it into a pickup by shortening the roof and was adding the stepside pickup bed from one of Monogram's 70's Chevy pickup kits. That was done way back, probably in high school back then or shortly after but I must have lost interest in it and gotten rid of it. It's actually a pretty nicely done kit, even out of the box. Those wire wheels are well done and of course, the ubiquitous Goodyear GT Radials were current back when this kit came out so they look right. I'd be curious Marty to see how your build goes on this one. Good luck on getting a rear window - I'm sure someone will come up with one soon. I wonder if they have considered reissuing the Corvette America kit - not sure if there would be enough sales to make it worthwhile but it would be a cool reissue since it's never been rereleased to my knowledge.
