Remember this box art picture?

I was able to pick up the parts to build this one. Mainly the hood scoop, wheels, and side pipes. I managed to find an original box with all the original parts but with an updated body. No problem, it was not that expensive. Today I started to put it together.

The white wall cheater slicks are from one of the AMT parts packs.

I'm going to find smaller white wall tires for the front.

The custom grille of the original is quite different from what was put in other kits. I like the look of the original better. Below is the updated grille on another 64 I've got built.

The engine willl be the kits 409 with the fuel injection system cobbled together from parts of an original 63 and the re-issue of the street shaker 64 (I think that's the one).

Shots of the box top. I do have the lighting system for the 64 and I have another 64 kit so I'm going to try and install the lights in the other body.
