Depends, you can spray colour coats followed by clear coats, OR you can wait 2 days after colour and sand then clear. Dehydrator cuts the dry time way down. Airbrushing also let's you do light coats of colour every 10 minutes followed by clear. I always do that then after 2

days, sand the clear and spray more clear, let that dry 2 days and do final sanding and polishing. Tamiya paints are made for models so they are more user friendly for us than hardware store spray cans.
