• Is there a common substance that can be added to Tamiya acrylics to retard drying somewhat? Trying to paint some small details but it's just drying too fast. *NM*
  • I have not used it, but Tamiya does make a retarder (87114) which I assume is designed for their acrylic paints? *NM*

  • One thing I found about Tamiya acrylics is that Windex will remove it even when dry. I assume it is the ammonia that is the active chemical here....
  • Well, Bill, it's not "common," but their X-20A acrylic paint thinner has worked for me. *NM*
