Frank...I should have known you were a Duster 340 guy! Let me tell you, some very influential people in the auto industry had Duster 340's (including a Group VP of Design for one of the Big 3), as did I (a new 1973 Duster 340). I had to wait until after HS graduation to...

....afford mine. I only kept it a year (traded it in om my factory ordered 1974 E58 Road Runner), but it was a blast the year I had it. Mine had the "Space Duster" option with the fold down rear seat. Fun ensued. Me and my buds would take it camping at the Michigan State Parks, pulll up to our space, open the tnruklid, plug in some Radio Shack Acoustic Suspension box speakers with stretchy cords to the headphone jacks back there and put them at the corners of our camping site. Instant party (though in retrospect, pretty obnoxious behavior).

Yours looks like a 1970. That was my all time favorite year for Duster 340's.

Anyway, cool, cool car. And a perfect fit in light of your many 1/1 and 125th exploits and achievements in the years to come after those photos. Way to go! TIM
