How would you guys rate the Revell '40 Ford Coupe and Convertible Street Rod kits? *NM*

Here a couple pictures of the convertible I built.

It's nice to see that again. Didn't realize that I'd sent those slides. They were used in the story. *NM*
My build
Nice and clean looking! *NM*
Thanks, David. *NM*
Beautiful looking car Ken, nice to see you back. *NM*
Thanks, Chuck. Appreciate the email over Xmas. Always good to visit with you. *NM*
sorry, don't remember the issue, but Tim Boyd had an article on combining the street rod and the stock one. Like usual, it was a great read and an imaginative build. *NM*
And if you want to upset the purists, build one as a 1940 Ford Deluxe Roadster, no wind up windows & small chrome dots along the door outside edges for the clip on windows......approx 30 genuine 1940 Ford Roadsters were built by Ford in Oz, a mate has a 1:1 version....lol. *NM*
The convertible is probably the single best '40 Ford kit out there, and mine's not even completed yet, just painted. *NM*
So, Mike L, both Revell 40 Fords are excellent--clean tooling, great detail, good decals, etc. I did have trouble getting the running boards and rear fenders to line up and fit to the bodies as well as the old AMT kit with one-piece assembly. *NM*
Should have said "as well as the old AMT one-piece fender/running board fits to the body." *NM*
