- OFF THE BENCH...68 GTO. I know I'm like Barry Payne (which isn't all bad) with this blue combo ( just love this combo). It's done be little disheartening during assembly. PIX and thanks for looking
- Another little mockup of the '77 Volare ,, In the memorable words of the incomparable Colin Hay, "It's just overkill" ,, [PICS]
- Which Cobra is the Revell "289" in 1:1, and in scale
- All, parts search help-I've seen a nicely molded version of this style hood scoop in a kit but its escaping me which kit-any leads (I know the old AMT Torino has one but its not very accurate looking to me)-I feel like it was also in a Revell Mustang maybe? *NM* *PIC*
- Hot Wheels designer Larry Wood going to the Automotive Hall of Fame. *NM* *LINK*
- Just got the August 2023 Collectible Automobile & it has a feature on the 1968-70 Dodge Coronet for those intent on building the new kit or the AMT 1970 Coronet as well. *NM*
- Hey Matt & Dawn.... The resin '39 Merc showed up at my door a bit earlier today. Super quick delivery and packed perfectly.... Thanks!!!! *NM*
- Was it ever said or implied that Round2 was going to do a '68 Coronet hardtop? *NM*
- Need a little input. *PICS*
- Personally, I'm liking the 56. It'll be a looker whichever one you opt to do *NM*
- I am not a low rider type guy but that one has my vote. *NM*
- I vote coupe...do you have the hood sides?? *NM*
- Really like the 39 lowrider, but my vote goes to the 56 junior stocker!!!! *NM*
- Seems like everyone's done the 56 panel, no ones done the 39 Coupe. *NM*
- I vote for the '56 Junior Stock as well. You yourself said it would be a fun build, that's all the reason you need to build it. *NM*
- Lo-Ri-Da... has my vote... *NM*
- My vote is for the '56 Chevy Sedan Delivery Jr. Stock in your local Garden Center livery. *NM*
- Welll, my 2 cents: As I don't build anything "newer" than '49, gotta go with the '39 Cheby. Finishing up a '37 Cheby Coupe as a matter of fact, in Kelly Green!! " 'tis true!! L.O.L. It's "slammed", but a "curbside" *NM*
- In my opinion...we really don't see a lot of nicely done 39's ...and if you put the sunscreen on the front and the venetian blinds inside..even with a bland paint color clear coated...it beats the "everybody builds drag cars" thing. Just my opinion...whtever you do..ENJOY t *NM*
- '39 Chevy. Lots of class even if it is a bit low. *NM*
- I am always going to go with a drag car! So the '56..... *NM*
- While I'm a huge fan of the Jr Stocks, I've been really impressed with the new generation of those 30s lowriders--give the 39 a try *NM*
- 56. *NM*
- Just a thought, Terry. Send me the '39 Cheby, you build the '56. Problem solved. Like that'll happen. DUH! L.O.L. *NM*
- Contest strategy - drag Chevy tri-fives will be common but a low '39 will be unique *NM*
- Terry....that Sedan Delivery all the way! Also, check out your sources....the 4-speed Hyrdromatic was reportedly factory installed in these SD's (some sources dispute this) which was one of the key factors in why the SDs were so popular in Junior Stock drags....TB *NM*
- I'd try to them both. It's not like you're chopping a top or building a kustom....Time might be an issue, though. *NM*
- Latest build. Willys Pickup *PIX* and *LINK*
- My favorite paint is... *PICS*
- Cool! *NM*
- Got mine yesterday. What a great looking kit! *NM*
- It seems to me concept behind this line of kits is to grab kids familar with LEGO and bring them into plastic model kits, No glue or paint needed. The linked discussion is a fascinating debate regarding the merits of the Quick Build system. *LINK*
- Anyone used the AMT 1960 Starliner frame/interior/engine/suspension etc under the 1961/62/63/64 Galaxies...I know the interior is not correct but everything else is more or less, ie the "cowbelly" frame etc was used up to 1964....any major hiccups or problems?. *NM*
- 1962 Starliner hood
- Many, many moons ago, it was said that a new 1966 Mustang fastback was going to be made. Maybe along the lines of the 1968 Coronet, 1965 and 1968 GTO's. I figured that it would have been out by now. I haven't heard even a whisper in months. Is it ever going to be produced? *NM*
- X2 on Keith Marks, and they are outstanding. *NM*
- I really like that Ardun powered chopped A in the first pic! *NM*
- Thanks for sharing the PICS! *NM*
- I know that Porsche plenty.... NNL North entrant Beautiful *NM*
- I know that TB did a great job on what's in the box..... But WOW, great new take on the instruction sheet. *NM*
- I like that you never have to worry about getting bumped our of the way. *NM*
- Got my Mustangs yesterday.... A VERY MUCH THANK YOU MATT & DAWN *NM*
- Great stuff! The Miss Bardahl U-1 hydroplane on a trailer with the truck is a nice combo build. Looks good! *NM*
- Be sure to watch the second one where the interviewer also drives it. ;^) *NM*
- A truly humble thank you to Matt and Dawn (you guys know why).... You are the best!!!! *NM*
- To be fair, LEGO building is its own aesthetic. It's not about making scale miniatures. It's about creating a variety of things using a set of standard pieces. *NM*
- No formal clubs but lots came together :) *NM*
- I may have done that but with the cost of kits $50.oo Canadian, I just can't justify doing it. *NM*
