Dan, I know I got a heap of older Scale Auto from a couple of guys around 25yrs ago, I have no doubt that one was yourself, I also got some Scale Auto & I think Collectible Automobile from the late Bob Downie from Canada, I still go thru old mags checking references, etc. *NM*

ATTENTION! What's this magazine, in excellent condition, worth? 130 pages of Hot Rod History.
Photo in above post. *NM*
See link... *NM* *LINK*
Thanks, I appreciate the link. It doesn't answer the question. One wanting $7 and one wanting $29. I haven't bought or sold via Ebay in years. Being someone with hundreds of magazines to liquidate think I'll donate them to the library. They'll take 'em all. *NM*
Go with the lower estimate. Asking price is not a good indicator of value. Magazines in general have little or no collectors value. Unfortunately, no one has actually sold one of that particular book on eBay recently so no actual sales can be evaluated. *NM*

Magazines are almost impossible to give away, save for certain vintage titles - believe me, I've tried *NM*
My sister and mom tossed out most of my magazinea few years ago, when I was in the hospital. Most car magazines aren't worth anything, except to the right people, and if they have the right contents.
Speed & Supercar magazine? Go check that website
I visit alot of flea markets and antique malls, and even the most vintage of the titles bring little more than $5 or $6, but I buy lots of vintage car mags., occasionally spending $5 or so. *NM*
I collect various magazines, have every issue of The Rodders Journal, Collectible Automobile, Rodders Digest, Hot Rod Deluxe, Oz Custom Rodder & Restored Cars...chasing 2011 issue & Spring 2013 issue of Elapsed Times...let me know if you have either......lol. *NM*
And I forgot....every issue of Australian Street Rodding, Scale Auto Enthusiast, Car Model, Plastic Fanatic/Model Cars to #201, Classic Wings Downunder & Jamming Gears & the recent Scale Model Enthusiast & Auto Modeller.......maybe I should just take more meds.......lol. *NM*
I started buying magazines in the late 1960s with lawn mowing and paper route money. still have the majority and enjoy reading them to see how much I forgot *NM*
I still remember handing over my entire Street Machine and Scale Auto Enthusiast collection to you around the turn of last century lol *NM*

Oops.....my sincere apologies for this mistake, thank you for the correction. *NM*
Ironically, pretty much everything that was labeled “special collector’s edition”… wasn’t. I’m in a similar situation - magazines I have been collecting since I was a kid, pretty much. I still value them, but once I’m gone they will probably be fodder for the
When we downsized for our move into an apartment a few years ago, l wound up dumping about 95% of my magazines in the recycle bins... Issues of Rod Action, Street Rodder, Popular Hot Rodding, R&C, SS&DI that I had been collecting since the 70s...
I got rid of pretty much everything post-1980...
I did the same this summer when we moved. *NM*
I can see that happening we me as well.
I've already been told at our local Library they will take all my magazines for their store. All I have to do is deliver them. Going to a better cause than just throwing away. *NM*
