After it being on an extended hiatus I have started back on my Project Evo. *LINK*

I stopped work on Evo two years ago after I ruined the body paint job for a 2nd time and got disgusted. So I put it away and pressed on with some other builds.
Since the interior and chassis were already completed I have no other work to do on them. The interior is Duplicolor silver over gray primer and overcoated with Tamiya clear flat. The bucket seats are Duplicolor flame red over gray primer and sprayed over with clear flat. I painted the rear side glass and rear window from the inside to simulate dark tinted glass while I used the kit supplied mask to paint the windshield frit lines.
The chassis was painted flat black for simplicity. I didn't like the black wheels so I painted them a different shade of silver over gray primer and sprayed them over with Tamiya clear gloss.
The remainder of my session yesterday (Mon, Oct 26) mostly consisted of the very tedious installation of the individual taillight lenses into the chromed bezel assembly. They are held in place by Micro Liquitape.
Next will be the painting of the body shell and fascias. I am planning a different color as I'm not going with the same color I failed with twice.
Evo is a curbside, mostly (but not 100%) box build of the Aoshima Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. Fortunately, Aoshima provided the LHD dashboard or else I wouldn't have even taken on this project although I have always liked the looks of this series of Lancer. I don't build RHD models.
Still a little ways to go here but at least I am back making some progress.

Thanks to everybody who took the time to look at this new installment on Project Evo.
