Happy Thursday guys! I've been messing with a couple of silver 1982-83 Cavalier promos lately. They aren't contest-worthy but they were a fun diversion from more involved projects. The one with the red interior was the first one and that's mine. I added red flocking for carpet and a set of '87 Monte SS wheels from the parts box. The one with the blue interior is for my friend Doane out in Cali. His has blue-grey flocking for carpet and his features '79 Z/28 wheels. One thing I did differently with his interior is I removed the floor and the seats and console so I could do a neater job of applying carpet but it may have been more work than it was worth. I'm thinking about maybe doing one or two more of them but I'm not sure yet. I have an '82 kit as well so that one will get more attention but I'm considering doing some surgery on one to make a convertible or a phantom wagon. It's funny because I'm not particularly a fan of Cavaliers but they have their place in automotive history. Anyway, here are a few pics of each car. Let me know what you think.
