I'm pretty sure all four engines use mostly the same parts. Oil pans, headers, and front/rear items differ for each one *NM*

Yeh, not looking forward to that step......just making sure I keep track of which is left & right engines, parts, etc.......instructions are not the clearest re part location......but I'll get there........doing a little at a time then taking a break.....lol. *NM*

Well, I am a sucker for punishment...got the Ivo Showboat from our hosts & the Ivo book so I thought why not build the Showboat....just when I thought 32 injectors was enough,I've started on the exhausts...how many fellow pain lovers on here have also built this kit..lol? *NM*
I built one from the Hot Rod issue...not too hard, make sure flashing is cleaned up and everything fitted as you go. I still want to put two of those together to get eight engines *NM*
As I recall, the main concern with this kit is getting the engines fitted correctly to the chassis *NM*

Eight engines: Love that idea! *NM*
I recall building this kit a long time ago. Don't see it in my displayed models so think I gave up. *NM*
I built both the Ivo Showboat and M/T Challenger from the Hot Rod series kit, back on the late 1980's.... Sadly, neither survived the great shelf collapse of 1999.
A mate gave me an original Revell 1962 Challenger kit as he felt it too complex, I actually enjoyed it,detail painted engines & chassis but polished the blue plastic body, the Showboat headers & injectors are a PITA but I'll get there.....lol. *NM*
Never built the Show Boat (ended up with a Die-cast) and I got 90% of the Challenger done detailing then I found the Die-cast and the kit ended up in the box just need the body to be painted... One day I'll finish it. *NM*
