The guys doing the tires are not typically casters by trade in my observation
In Response To: The vintage ones are getting thin on the ground. Modern reproductions of the old tires are silicone, usually cast in molds that are open on the back side leaving the inside sidewall looking messy *NM* ()

A few of our friends - who really know their stuff - did it with quality materials, pressure pot, etc, and they are much better than typical.

Was at the resin store a few weeks ago, saw some interesting samples for black flexible resin and need to follow through, have to get a few things out of the way, first.
