Broader modeling question: Do you prepare a 'build sheet' for your projects? Or just wing it?

I'm one of many modelers with "modeler's ADD" - well, beyond the model workbench too. Doubt that I'm the only sufferer here.

Since the move and the new shop, I've been working at being more intentional, the new space is designed to help that. However, even with this benefit, the distraction is high.
I'm attributing some of this distraction from being away from the bench( in any meaningful way) for nearly five years.

The model mojo feels like the relays are clicking, but it will take time to fully engage.

I'm thinking that a written goal statement would help - but have never seen a practical one beyond cocktail napkin squiggles.

Soooo... has anyone else done something like this to keep the "troops marching to the front" - ?
