My impression is that very few of you read Fine Scale Modeler Magazine these days, so I am gonna give you a little hint here.

The current (September/October 2026) issue has a six page, 22 step how-to on building this exact model car....

This project takes the Moebius 1965 Chevy II Sedan Gasser kit and converts it into a late 1960s/early 1970s street freak.

The project includes converting the blown drag racing SBC to a street setup with a water pump, Delcotron, and carbs i/l/o fuel injection. The wheels and tires are new, and the suspension is mightily tweaked to move away from the slightly nose up stance of the Moebius kit to a high-rider/dumped in front stance straight from the coves of Car Craft mag back in the day.

The five color graphics treatment was done 100% with rattle cans - no airbrushing - and will be detailed in a separate Fine Scale Modeler four page article in the upcoming November/December 2026 issue of Fine Scale Modeler magazine.
