To Mark's point, the interior 'tin' is a drop fit, and I do have a few of the Street Machine and Countdown bumpers. May even have the HCC kit bumper in the bag somewhere, plan is to strip them and just go to the bright silver used so often in the era.

That said, the stance needs adjusting, as it sits well too too high (and wide) in Cougar, Mach One and Long Nose. Likewise, the wheelbase and front wheel openings are standard in the kit but look like there may have been stretching not unlike MPC did for their excellent '68 Dyno/Fast Eddie Cougars.

Since the design seems to have used the JoHan and MPC kits of the era as a bogey, I'm wondering if mebbe there might be a narrower axle floating in the junque pile that would resolve this, or simply drill and pin the existing. Then it is a matter of lowering... oh, the obscurity!
