        • Not the same car. Many differences. Offset suspension was a major difference, as were the engines used. *NM*
  • Interesting kit.....tho' I'd prefer the IMC 1/25th scale version of Jim Clarks Lotus with the IMC GT40 kits extra Quad Cam which comes with a proper "Bundle of Snakes" & can easily be built...even with all the extras the price seems a little steep, but I'm a tightwad..lol. *NM*

    • Which reminds me,,,I picked up an unbuilt IMC Cougar II (Testors' late '70s "Those Famous Fords' reissue)at an IPMS contest this past weekend. So far , it's just missing one engine half, one tire, and the driver's side door skin.
      • Left out one detail...kit cost me just $5. *NM*
        • Lindberg reissued that kit too (with different tires though)...you might be able to find a cheap one of those *NM*
      • The IMC originals have the most beautiful polished metallic maroon body, almost looks like it has been clear coated. *NM*
        • I wish Round 2 would issue some kits in colored polished plastic, especially their easy build kits. It looks like the upcoming new tool ‘67 Impala reissue will be molded in color. *NM*
          • I know the MPC Mount 'N Goat reissue was in metallic blue plastic (think Monogram Super Bee), guessing some other reissues may be, too *NM*
          • Agree,I've built a few without paint if they have nice coloured plastic,the Johan 35 Merc Coupe in maroon,Tamiyas DB9 in metallic grey, Italeri 250 GTO & Daytona in red,Revell 1962 M/T Challenger in pale blue & Monos Predicta in Dk metallic blue,all just polished. *NM*
      • Wish I had an extra to donate to the cause - the kit is very good if you have the patience to follow it through
