Andy, I just found the AMMO/mig foil in my stash. Must have bought it a while back. Anyways, it has a grain in it, almost like brushed stainless, but very fine. I think it'd work on things like windshield frames, but there is one draw back: it is a little thicker than BMF.
Thicker isn't usually better, in this case. I have not tried it. No active/dormant projects here that need it either. I could test it on some junk body just to see. It might be a while though.
