  • Interesting that the painting guides on the Star Wars kt boxes reference Tamiya paint colors. *NM*
    • Tamiya probably has more suitable colors than other "commonly available" hobby paints *NM*
      • More widely available internationally - SciFi sells everywhere *NM*
  • I'd be tempted to get the land speeder and the 1/350th Big E but I don't know where I'd put it, let alone display it. *NM*
  • What I don't understand about their licenced kits is
    • A lot of "outsiders" are buying the licensed items. Just like the Coca-Cola licensed kits *NM*
    • Never underestimate brand collectors, especially Coke, Hot Wheels, etc. . My guess is the mere fact we have '65 Cudas, '63 Tempests and other relative noveties is because of the sales of the licensed stuff *NM*
      • We see and follow a very tiny fraction of the toy and hobby market -
    • For the most part the "branded" kits are not made for us. They are made for brand collectors. Most of them will never have the shrink wrap broke. It is actually a good thing for us because it brings additional revenue into the company which allows for product development. *NM*
