Built an AMT "Vantom" Ford van back then. One of my favorite kits.

Picked up another original at an NNL East back around 2005 or so, it was re-released a few years later.

So, this is the re-release built pretty close to the one I did way back around '81. [give or take a year]

Tamiya paint on the body and HOK for the dark red inside with good old Testors for the details.

I rounded up a set of the original 2-part big 'n little AMT tires for it. The wheels are the custom ones from the AMT '69 Torino Cobra. The original build used the similar stock wheels from the AMT '79 Bronco kit but I didn't have a set on hand.

I did a little work on the suspension to lower it a bit and narrow the rear to tuck the tires in some but it's pretty well box stock otherwise.
