Some examples:
The 'Cuda sitting in a restoration shop. The video is supposed to be some 'time-elapsed' video, showing the car being dismantled for restoration, but the AI is a bit off. How so? It shows two guys removing the passenger side door, but the video shows the car ROTATED in its garage space 180 degrees, so the men remove the door , then reinstall it in 'seconds', and the door magically becomes a driver's side door and gets reinstalled!
Forgot the name of the 'company', but they present a series of videos of scale miniature cars being unboxed, then being assembled. Apparently, NOBODY there knows anything about how 1/1 cars are assembled! Every miniature car comes with a full frame (even Mustangs, Mopars, and AMCs!), four-wheel disc brakes (on restored stock '57 Chevys!?!), and a small-block Chevy motor (valve covers are a dead giveaway, even if someone rendered it with a front-mounted Chrysler-style distributor).
One video of a vintage late '30s Ford truck shows that they couldn't decide on a stock engine. At different points in the video, the engine is a flathead 6, a flathead V8, a SBC, and a V-12.
One 'barn find video' shows a team picking up a 427 Cobra out of the middle of field in what appears to be a remote area. One fun thing is that when the car is winched onto the trailer, the right front wheel is missing, By the time they get to the shop, a wheel regenerates there...but it is a SIX-lug steel wheel! And the first thing they do to the body? Grind the rusty areas down...think about that for a second.
Some of the restoration work is suspect--too many times I've seen them paint a body without primer...or not masking off areas not painted...or painting cars with the windows rolled down
There was a video last week or so, on an "original unrestored" Impala. The video could not 'decide' if the car was a two-door or four-door, and what's with the tan front seat in a car with a green interior.
How about the "Charger diecast" I saw on Monday--front clip was '71-4, but the rest of the car was from '68-70! The taillights were a combination of '68 and '69.
