Lotsa talk on the U-Toob about airbrushing craft paint. Most is matte or flat. What is the suggested clear coat that won't react with the paint? TIA *NM*

Most 2-part automotive urethanes can go over nearly any basecoat. But I'm sure there are plenty of less dangerous (for breathing) "hobby" clearcoats that'll work. About all you can do is test. There are just too many possible formuls/combinations. *NM*

One of them has to show what is used for a clearcoat. There is a "1K" urethane clear (no mixing, less dangerous). Anytime you use products not normally used together, test first! *NM*
Not airbrushing, but I brush painted Tamiya X22 gloss clear over FolkArt craft acrylic matte blue several years ago on an engine, no reactions to date *NM*
