I stumbled upon this model on Cults 3D and couldn’t resist downloading it. It’s billed as the ambulance used in the MASH TV show. Not why I built it though. I just thought it was a unique subject.
The kit is designed to have opening doors and a hinged hood. The downside is that it was designed to be printed at 1/10 scale. Once I downsized it to 1/25 I lost some of the features as they were just too small to survive. Still in all I’m happy with the result.

I found some small brass hinges which worked well for the hood and rear doors. For the front doors I was able to use some small plastic tubing and pins. I created and printed the decals in powerpoint. I have a couple of things to fix. The decals on the rear doors didn't settle down well even with microsol. So I think I'll have to paint them rather than using a decal. And the front bumper sags which should be a simple fix. All in all though I'm quite happy with it.
