Is the 1/32 scale '65 Galaxie the old IMC kit from back then? Wasn't it a NASCAR-style racer back then? Vaguely remember a story in SAE in the '80s or '90s, that centered on building vintage 1/32 scale NASCARs...

Forgot who wrote it...
I remember the big Gal in the story, a '78 Thunderbird (from the Lindberg kit), a '78-9 Dodge Magnum (converted from Lindberg's Cordoba kit!)...and there might've been one or two others, but I forgot what they were.

Don't know of a sizeable aftermarket for 1/32 scale cars .
