  • DITTO... I had all of my stuff in the garage when I down sized... Well couple of years go by, I was looking for a project only to find out it was severely warp so I started checking other boxes. Lost about 40%. Brought the rest in the house. *NM*

  • And I will add that if anyone has any Australian sourced Cavalier or Havacorn brand Australian resin kits to ensure that the kit tyres are stored in a separate bag & not used on the model as the tyres disintergrate & ruin whatever they touch. *NM*
    • I have an Australian sourced Cavalier or Havacorn brand body for a Holden 4-door of some osrt. The tires turned to goo years ago.
      • If its a 4dr then its the Holden Torana SLR5000, there is a plastic kit of the Torana Hatchback by DDA that is quite good, not sure if DDA do the 4dr yet. *NM*

    • Fully agree......I'm a model builder, models are to be built........those tyres in Oz resin kits I mentioned will disintergrate & melt everywhere even on a model...they put the Revell 1/16th drag tyres to shame........lol. *NM*
  • I hear ya Bob! I recently was given a '73 Riviera 3d printed kit and the roof and hood areas are very flat so hopefully some hot tap water can fix that. I also have a bunch of resin kits that I've had for several years at least. I should check them as well. More...

    • Depends on how they were cast, and under what conditions
      • I would guess that painting them on all surfaces would seal them from the moisture problem. But the raw materials used vary so much, there is probably no definitive answer. *NM*
