Just finished. One of my all time favorite dream cars. 1971 Pontiac GT-37 painted Quezal Gold with red and black stripes and black interior. Unfortunately, the resin hood is severely warped along the front edge. I thought that I had it fixed, but it bounced back. .... *PICS*

Does anyone know of a SURE FIRE way to reshape resin parts and have them hold the shape ? I have 6 more of these 1971 Lemans conversions and all 6 of the hoods have the same problems. I want to flatten the center of the front edge of the hoods and have them stay that way. If I can't fix them, I'll have to build the rest of the cars with closed hoods by cementing them down on the sides and the front edge.

BTW, my remaining hoods are very thick. I ground down the one on this build to make it much thinner as part of the attempt to flatten out the front edge some.

I'd like to fix this hood if there is a sure fire way to reshape it and have it hold its shape.
