From some hard experience - now that my workspace is finally complete and reloaded, after a three-year hiatus.
When it was time to pack, I gave a cursory glance at some of my resin bodies and transkits, primarily as a check-in prior to packing.
The boxes were a bit snug in a few cases, but off we went coz our date to move was not budging.
Now, I'm finding box after box where the body was not isolated, or braced / set-together with sturdier styrene bits and the roof is pretzeled - showing that the cold flow of even some of the best makers in the business is practically a given if not properly stored.
Managed to save a few that looked like totals from the start.
Sooo... if you have transkits stuffed away in the box, check in on them to be sure they are not taking any load or have not shifted in storage, and when possible, are set-together (with styrene glass inserts if available) to hold their shape as well as possible.
