Spotlight Hobbies

I'll confess to some confusion, here - I was under the impression that replacing slides, etc, from older tools was a more difficult and expensive proposition in many cases compared to a new kit

I think the changes largely unlock a new market for the old kit, which I'll call a win. This, along with the Chevy pickup shortbed and F-150 show there is new life in old tools.

Can't be long before we see the aftermarket with one-piece flip front ends and a cowling insert (think '57 Flip Front Chevy) and the TLB Chivvalay engine insert.

Likewise, I suspect it pretty well shanks any idea of Revell shooting the diecast tool for the AG / Badman tool.

Would much prefer not to be kicking up to Mattel for the HW branding, but hey, modern life.
